Development and construction.

Good special luminaires are not created only in assembly. The decisive factor is a construction in which lighting technology, thermals, mechanics, electronics, finishability and assembly are already combined.

Concept & Building Space

We develop first designs, interfaces and solution variants from architectural specifications and technical requirements.

3D CAD & Drawings

Components, housings, holders and assembly components are designed and transferred to production-compatible documents.

Thermik & Licht

LED power, heat dissipation, distances, optics and diffusers are adapted to the mechanical design.

Prototypen

Functional patterns are used to validate assembly, lighting effect, building space and critical details before series start.

Design for Manufacturing

The design is optimized for reproducible assembly, reasonable tolerances, test accessibility and cost-effective unit costs.

Dokumentation

Parts lists, drawings, wiring, assembly and testing requirements form the basis for stable production.

Prototype to series

Development is aimed at completion.

A solution is only good if it not only visualizes itself, but can be safely assembled, tested and reproduced. Therefore, experiences from casting, gluing, LED mounting, cabling and final testing flow directly into the construction.

Construction, optics and prototypes as a coherent development process

The historical Alurays documents describe the development of project-specific luminaires together with architects and light planners. Construction, circuit board layout, optical simulation and sample construction are not considered separately, but as coherent product development.
