UNIQ TOWERS Düsseldorf: Vertical light lines shape the facade
For UNIQ TOWERS in Düsseldorf's Medienhafen, Alurays developed a tailor-made solution for façade accentuating and exterior lighting on behalf of the light planner TROP Lighting. The aim was to make the characteristic vertical structure of the building ensemble clearly visible even after dark and to emphasize its distinctive silhouette effectively.
Alurays took over the development, production and delivery of the linear lighting technology specially adapted to the project. The precisely integrated vertical lighting lines support the architectural design language, create orientation and give the façade an elegant, widely recognizable night effect. Light and architecture interact to create a harmonious overall picture without overlaying the building structure.
The project shows the strength of individual lighting solutions: from the requirements of lighting planning, architecture and construction practice, a durable system with high design precision was created. Together with TROP Lighting, Alurays realized a characteristic façade accent for a new landmark of Düsseldorf's media port.
