Roche Visitor Center – Special lighting for a reactive brand world
For the new Visitor Center at Roche Diagnostics International in Rotkreuz, alurays developed, produced and delivered the project-specific special lighting. The approximately 550 square meter showroom makes the world of diagnostics experience as an interactive brand and communication landscape. Milla & Partner was responsible for the interdisciplinary overall concept, the spatial design, exhibition and customer journey, as well as the overarching lighting concept. Jens Maier and his office maierlighting took over the lighting planning design of the reactive, space-connecting light structure. Their core features are specially developed linear luminaires, which alurays precisely designed, produced and produced in coordinated lengths. Short, DMX controllable Tunable White modules generate animated light clouds in the interplay. A generative control reacts to space usage, daylight, light color and light intensity without repeating the cloud formations. Thus, architectural lighting and media staging merge into a dynamic, yet functional system. The customized special solution creates a homogeneous light image and supports transparency, dialogue and innovation as the central guiding principle of the Roche Center.
