Light that becomes part of architecture
The Retreat Palm Dubai MGallery by Sofitel is located on the quiet east side of Palm Jumeirah and combines contemporary resort architecture with a holistic wellness concept. The five-star hotel includes 255 rooms and suites, opens wide views over the Arabian Gulf and hosts with the Rayya Wellness Centre a comprehensive range of relaxation, health and regeneration.
Alurays, together with Dubai's local importer Decolight LLC, provided the exterior lighting for the atmosphere of the resort. The precisely coordinated lighting solutions accentuate facades, balconies and architectural contours without overlaying the tranquil atmosphere of the retreat. Warm, floral light gives the building depth and orientation in the evening hours, underlining its elegant presence on the water.
The combination of high-quality lighting technology, careful integration and reliable execution creates an inviting night identity. The outdoor lighting thus supports the special character of the resort: a place where Dubai's urban energy and the tranquility of an exclusive wellness retreat come together harmoniously.
