Light that becomes part of architecture
In the QGym Elite in Doha, light becomes a training impulse. Linear LED profiles arranged under the ceiling structure the fitness areas and give the room a dynamic, almost graphic depth. Alurays provided the tailor-made lighting lines and realized the project together with Aluray's Middle East. Their precise orientation takes up the movement of the sport, guides the view through different training zones and sets devices and architecture clearly in scene. Alternating light scenes combine bright white tones with striking color accents and create a concentrated, activating or atmospheric environment depending on the use. Uniform contrasts on the ground improve the orientation, while the low glare at eye level supports high visual comfort. The uncomplicated control allows to adapt mood and intensity flexibly to training times, course formats and events. This results in far more than functional lighting: the floating LED profiles shape the identity of the fitness center, translate energy into spatial effect and make the QGym Elite a distinctive place for demanding training in Qatar.
