Project report
Light that becomes part of architecture
In the project "Balanstraße Haus 28" in Munich, alurays lighting technology GmbH delivered the tailor-made linear LED lighting for the façade. The building is part of the commercial campus "new balan" at Balanstraße 73 and sets a striking accent in the east of Munich with its clear architecture.
The luminaires specially manufactured for the project integrate precisely into the façade structure and emphasize the geometric design of the building in darkness. A uniform, point-free lighting effect and the discreet integration of the technology combine design requirements with high functionality. The long-lasting LED systems were developed and produced in Germany.
The client of alurays was Claus Heinemann Elektroanlagen GmbH from Unterföhring. The client of the project is the GENERAL SÜDBODEN Grundbesitz AG based in Grünwald. The lighting planning took over dpa lighting consultants from London.
With the facade lighting from Haus 28 alurays underlines its competence in the development of project-specific lighting solutions for sophisticated architecture.
