Light that becomes part of architecture
Light lines for the adidas employee restaurant "Stripes"
For the employee restaurant "Stripes" at the adidas campus "World of Sports" in Herzogenaurach, alurays developed and delivered individually manufactured, free-hanging LED light profile lines. The luminaires, which are divided into several segments, follow the architecture of the guest room and create a distinctive graphic light image over the areas of stay.
The height-adjustable suspended aluminium profiles were designed with integrated LED technology, DALI-dimmable operating equipment and a light colour of 4,000 Kelvin. Thus, the project-specific solution combines a clear design language with uniform, functional lighting and flexible light control.
The direct client of alurays was SAT Elektrotechnik GmbH from Nuremberg. The builder of the employee restaurant was adidas AG. The new building, designed by Kauffmann Theil & Partner, offers about 940 seats and is part of the adidas Group headquarters in Herzogenaurach. The award-winning building combines gastronomy, communication and brand architecture to an open meeting place for the employees
